2021 Toyota Camry Engine Options

There are three total engine options for the 2021 Camry. The first option is a 2.5-Liter inline-4 cranking out 203 horsepower, 184 lb-ft of torque, and an average of 31 MPG. Next up is the 3.5L V6. This pounds the pavement with 301 horsepower and 267 lb-ft of torque while getting an average of 26 MPG. Last up is the 2.5L I-4 hybrid producing a total of 208 horsepower and getting up to an average of 53 MPG. All gasoline variants of the Camry are linked to a smooth-shifting 8-speed automatic transmission, while the hybrids are mated with an electronically controlled Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT). Front-wheel drive is standard, while all-wheel drive is available.

Are There Any Other 2021 Toyota Camry Trims?

There are five primary trim levels for the 2021 Camry. However, there are twelve trims in total. The LE, SE, XLE, and XSE all come with a hybrid option. The LE, along with the hybrid engine, gets a push-button start and dual-zone automatic climate control. The SE hybrid receives darkened exterior accents and 18-inch alloy wheels. The XLE hybrid tacks on dual-zone climate control with rear vents and full-speed radar cruise control. The XLE and XSE trims both have a V6 option. The XLE V6 adds a panoramic glass roof with a moonroof and a color head-up display. The XSE V6 adds 19-inch wheels and a rear spoiler.

What is Toyota Safety Sense 2.5+?

Safety Sense is Toyota's driver assistance technology suite. Four driver assists come standard across the whole Camry lineup. First is the pre-collision system with pedestrian detection, which senses oncoming objects and takes preventive measures. Lane departure warning warns you if you're drifting in your lane and even countersteers. Automatic high beams that sense oncoming traffic and turn on and off on their own. Lastly, the road sign assist detects road signs like speed limit and yield signs and alerts you to them.
